On the afternoon of June 5th, Zhang Zhenzhu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, visited Ningbo Haishu District Oral Hospital and Ninghai County First Hospital to hold a signing ceremony for establishing teaching base relationships and unveiling. Huang Lie, Deputy District Governor of Haishu District, and Guo Wenkui, Deputy County Chief of Ninghai County, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Representatives from the office of the district government in Haishu, the health commission team members, the county government office in Ninghai, key members of the health commission team, party and government team members from both hospitals, relevant offices and functional departments, as well as party and government team members from the Health Science Center and related department heads participated in the ceremony.

At the signing and unveiling ceremony at Ningbo Haishu District Oral Hospital affiliated with Ningbo University, Chai Wei, Director of Haishu District Health Commission, first delivered a welcome speech; Wang Qianyong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Health Science Center, read out the document on the establishment of the teaching base and signed a non-affiliated hospital agreement with Li Er, Party Secretary of Ningbo Haishu District Oral Hospital, representing the university; Zhang Zhenzhu and Huang Lie jointly unveiled the “Ningbo University Affiliated Ningbo Haishu District Oral Hospital” plaque. In his speech, Huang Lie pointed out that the unveiling ceremony marked a new phase in the cooperation between the two parties. He proposed three ideas: continuously promoting resource sharing to enhance the hospital brand's strength and reputation, hoping the hospital would fully utilize the resources of Ningbo University and the Health Science Center to collaborate in clinical research, technological innovation, and talent training, thereby improving the hospital’s diagnostic and research abilities; effectively integrating talent cultivation to deepen specialized medical services, concentrating superior resources to create an outstanding hub for oral medicine talents, achieving a talent aggregation effect; and continually enhancing medical services to better serve the public, meeting the growing oral health needs of the people more effectively.

At the contract signing and unveiling ceremony for establishing a teaching base between Ningbo University and Ninghai County First Hospital, Wang Qianyong read out the document establishing the teaching base and signed a teaching hospital agreement with Dai Zhangqiao, President of Ninghai County First Hospital, representing the university; Zhang Zhenzhu, Guo Wenkui, and others collectively unveiled the teaching hospital. In his address, Guo Wenkui noted that the Ninghai County Party Committee and Government highly value the development of healthcare. Becoming a teaching hospital of the Ningbo University Health Science Center will significantly boost the hospital’s development in medical education and research. He expressed hope that through the teaching base platform, integrating teaching with practice, more medical professionals equipped with professional knowledge and humanistic qualities could be cultivated. He emphasized further deepening cooperation with Ningbo University, pinpointing issues precisely, ensuring funding, and focusing on advancing medical education and healthcare development. Hu Jiebao, Party Secretary of Ninghai County First Hospital Healthcare Group, made a statement expressing gratitude for the trust and recognition from Ningbo University, committing to earnestly fulfill the responsibilities of clinical teaching and internships to contribute more high-quality professional talents to regional healthcare development, and expressing hopes for deep cooperation with the Health Science Center to achieve mutual development and win-win outcomes.

Zhang Zhenzhu spoke at the establishment ceremonies of both teaching bases. He first introduced the achievements and talent cultivation status of the university and the Health Science Center and expressed gratitude to the governments of Haishu District and Ninghai County for their care and support for Ningbo University. He set forth three expectations for school-locality cooperation: seize opportunities and act proactively, utilizing the teaching base platforms to continuously improve the quality of medical talent cultivation and fully leverage its own advantages to support and help the teaching bases enhance their teaching, research, and discipline construction levels; build together and share to achieve improvement, with hospitals deepening connotation construction and quality enhancement, realizing new leapfrog development; and school-locality cooperation for common development.
