On May 12th, the Clinical Medicine Class 221 of the Health Science Center carried out a campus free clinic and health education event themed "Medical Heart to Ningbo – Protecting Women's Health." The event focused on the female staff of the campus logistics department, aiming to help these hardworking women understand their health status and raise their health awareness, enabling them to pay better attention to their own health in their daily work.

On the day of the event, a professionally trained free clinic team moved through the campus, providing free health check-ups, blood pressure and blood sugar measurements, and other services to female employees working in the school cafeteria, dormitories, and teaching buildings. Additionally, the event offered health education specifically tailored to the occupational characteristics of the female staff, providing information on the prevention of breast cancer, cervical cancer, and other gynecological diseases. The content was rich, including basic knowledge about women's health, how to prevent gynecological diseases, and how to maintain physical and mental health. Moreover, healthy snacks were prepared to express the students' care and gratitude towards the female staff, letting the warmth of "Medical Heart to Ningbo" brighten the entire campus.

The participating staff members expressed that the free clinic event made them feel the school's care and support. A logistics worker with high blood sugar levels discovered during the clinic was advised by the students to further seek hospital examination. Auntie Li from the cafeteria logistics said, "I really want to thank these kids for making us pay more attention to our health and learning more health knowledge. From now on, I will focus more on self-care to continue serving the school's teachers and students with a better physical condition." Zhang, a student from Clinical Class 221, stated that the purpose of conducting this free clinic event was to help these hardworking and dedicated employees better understand their health status and raise their health awareness, allowing them to shine in their ordinary positions.

The "Medical Heart to Ningbo" series of events at the Health Science Center is a signature volunteer service brand that showcases the professional knowledge and skills of medical students, providing health education and medical services to the school and community. Looking ahead, "Medical Heart to Ningbo" will continue its glorious chapter, expand its service scope, promote the integration of theoretical learning and practical training, cultivate medical students' sense of social responsibility and professional ethics, and guide the public to enhance their health awareness and satisfaction with medical services.
