In an effort to further promote the academic culture within the Health Science Center and to assist students preparing for the 2024 postgraduate entrance examination in accumulating retest experience, alleviating exam preparation pressure, and increasing the success rate of the retest, the Student Union and the Graduate Students Association of the Health Science Center organized the "Companion on the Medical Journey, Fully Committed to the 'Retest'" - 2024 Postgraduate Entrance Examination Retest Experience Sharing Session on March 26 in the multi-functional hall of Wang Changlai Building.
The sharing session was conducted in a face-to-face discussion format, featuring five outstanding students including Lan Libin, a specialist in internal medicine from the 2023 cohort; Chen Jianping and Luo Zhe, specialists in surgery; Gao Xiang, a specialist in orthopedics; and Lu Daijin, a specialist in digestive internal medicine. Drawing on their personal experiences with the retest, they provided the attending students with a rich and practical session of shared insights. The interactive atmosphere was enthusiastic, and the exchange was thorough. They not only shared key points to consider during written tests and interviews but also emphasized the importance of knowledge reserves, medical English proficiency, interview demeanor, practical operations, and the logic and comprehensiveness of interview Q&A. Their experiences offered guidance for the preparation of the retest, boosting the confidence and determination of the students.
