Title: Digital Health Management and Precision Nutrition under the Proactive Health Concept Time: March 8, 2024 (Friday) 9:30-10:30 Location: Multipurpose Hall, Wang Changlai Building, Health Science Center Speaker: Wang Hui Bio: Wang Hui is a distinguished professor (Level II) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a doctoral supervisor, Dean of the School of Public Health at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Executive Dean of the Institute of Digital Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Chinese Director of the Single Cell Genomics and Disease Research Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, recipient of the National Distinguished Youth Fund, winner of the Chinese Young Female Scientist Award, recipient of the Red Flag Holder of March 8th and the May 1st Labor Medal in Shanghai, outstanding academic leader in Shanghai, Chairman of the Shanghai Toxicology Society, highly cited researcher by Elsevier, Chairman of the Huangpu District Overseas Chinese Federation in Shanghai. She is also the recipient of the first prize of the "Overseas Contribution Award" from the Ninth Session of the China Overseas Chinese Federation, and the project leader for the Ministry of Science and Technology's Key Special Project on Active Health and Aging Technological Responses, leading the "Personal Health Monitoring Big Data Cloud Platform" project, as well as the Chief Scientist for the Key Special Project on Food Manufacturing and Agricultural Product Logistics Technological Support, focusing on the research and demonstration of new generation infant formula manufacturing technology based on Chinese breast milk research.

Professor Wang and her team have long been engaged in basic and applied research in digital proactive health and chronic disease prevention, nutrition and food safety, health education and health communication. They have established a digital health management system based on proactive health index covering the entire lifecycle, built a primary care chronic disease management family doctor assistant platform, and explored new models of digital proactive health and chronic disease management to promote the integration of medical treatment and prevention, advance precision health management, and demonstrate applications in multiple regions across the country. They have published over 170 high-level papers in international journals such as Nature, JAMA, Nature Genetics, Lancet Digit Health, Lancet Psychiatry, Gut, and Nat Commun, authored 9 monographs, applied for 56 patents, achieved 7 technology transfers, formulated 25 national and industry standards, obtained registrations for 4 computer software copyrights, 3 video copyrights, and published 3 series of electronic publications in both Chinese and English. They have led the construction of a public health and preventive medicine teaching platform and social popular science practice system integrating "teaching + popular science + think tank + works + competition + training + activities", and have been approved as the national base for all-round digital literacy and skills training. Professor Wang is responsible for leading the construction of the Shanghai "Public Health and Preventive Medicine Popular Science Service Platform" and the key discipline construction of "Health Education and Health Communication" in Shanghai, as well as organizing the establishment of an expert database in the field of "Health Education and Health Communication" for health popularization in Shanghai. The "1+X multidimensional integrated innovation application" model has been implemented in over 400 communities, primary and secondary schools, becoming a demonstration site for intelligent health (popular science) experiences. She has led the construction of a multi-dimensional and three-dimensional popular science practice system integrating "forum + works + competition + training + activities", and the development of the Shanghai Public Health and Preventive Medicine Popular Science Service Platform.
