**Personal Introduction:** Guofu Zhong
Guofu Zhong was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (2021). To date, he has published over 150 papers in journals including Science, Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., many of which have been featured in C&E News and cited extensively, with over 7,000 citations. He has applied for more than 30 patents internationally and domestically, two of which have been commercialized. Academic honors include the Asian Core Program Lectureship Award (Japan, 2013), Wiley Excellent Paper Award (2015), and the Southern University of Science and Technology Chemistry Lecture Award (2017). In February 2011, SynForm, a German review monthly, featured his work on asymmetric amine oxidation (aminoxylation) in its SynStory. He was selected for the "Top 2% Scientists of the World" list released by Stanford University in 2022. Students he has mentored have won nearly 50 awards at the provincial and ministerial level or above domestically and internationally (including the National Outstanding Self-Funded PhD Student Abroad Award, Humboldt Fellowship, Mitsui Chemical Award, Reaxys Ph.D. Finalist, and WFF Ph.D. Prize, etc.).
