On the afternoon of July 21, a group of more than 10 people including Professor Liu Yu, Executive Dean of the School of Medicine, Professor Xu Suling, Executive Dean of the Hospital Affiliated to the School of Medicine, visited Health BioMed for study and exchange. Chairman Yu Jianwei, President Qu Jian and Deputy President Li Heng of Health BioMed receive the group from the School of Medicine.
At the seminar, Qu Jian extended a warm welcome to the group from Ningbo University School of Medicine and the Hospital Affiliated to the School of Medicine. He noted that Health BioMed will adhere to the business purpose of focusing on serving human health and fulfill the concept of “Win Together for the Future”. He also expressed his hope to continuously improve the level of cooperation, expand the scope of cooperation and explore the potential of cooperation with the School of Medicine and its Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University.
Liu Yu introduced the development history, discipline construction, faculty and research achievements of the School of Medicine. She commented that Health BioMed is a responsible large-scale enterprise that actively engages in research and development of biomedical health technologies and is committed to serving human health. She also remarked that the seminar this day is a excellent starting point and will open a new chapter for the next step of in-depth cooperation between the school and the enterprise. She was fully confident in fulfilling the school-enterprise-hospital cooperation.
At the seminar, Dr. Yong Wu, Chief Technology Officer of Health BioMed, presented a detailed presentation on patient-centered multi-nucleic acid solutions for infectious pathogens, and Dr. Chen Huabiao shared the stories about AIDS and tumors respectively. Prof. Chen Xiaowei elaborated the screening and mechanism research of analgesic drugs, Prof. Hou Xin discussed the role of natural immune cells in liver diseases, and Dr. Si Zizhen offerd an in-depth explanation of addictive drugs around the new use of existing drugs. Dr. Xu Zhipeng from the Affiliated Hospital launched a brainstorming session on oncology treatment from the perspective of anesthesiology. During the seminar, experts made in-depth exchanges and discussed many new research ideas and cooperation opportunities.
The group also visited Health IVD Industrial Park and tours related laboratories.
