NBU Health Science Center and Jiangbei District Red Cross Society Jointly Carried out First Aid Knowledge Training

On March 26th,the first aid knowledge training themed on “Promoting Humanity and Displaying Youth Spirit” was carried out jointly by the Sunshine 120 Youth Volunteers Association of the NBU Health Science Center and Jiangbei Red Cross Society, which was lectured by Song Kedi,instructor of Jiangbei Red Cross Society, and Huang Biyun,Doctor of the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University.

During the training, the two lectures approached the theme by introducing about the origin of the Red CrossMovement, combined the oretical knowledge with practical skills about first aid,and elaborated on frequently-needed emergency first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) and bandaging.Through easy-to-understand explanations and rigorous CPR practicesrepeatedly on the human model, the students eventually mastered the first aid process andoperation essentials of CPR.

As one of the“Gratitude to Life”cultural activities organized by the NBU Health Science Center,this training aimsto further strengthen the life safety education of university students and popularize the knowledge and skills of first aid.
