On the afternoon of September 21, Ningbo University Health Science Center held its first general faculty meeting of the new semester, during which Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Wang Qianyong gave a party lecture titled "Establishing Oneself with Virtue, Cultivating the Teaching Field, and Becoming an Exemplary Teacher" to all faculty members.

At the meeting, Wang Qianyong first led all faculty members in concentrated study of the directives given at the National Excellent Teachers Symposium on September 9 and the spirit of Li Qiang's instructions. Through a profound analysis of different types of teacher morality and style warning cases, he pointed out the potential risks that may exist in the current development process of the Health Science Center. He believes that medical students need hands-on teaching from their teachers, who spend more time with students than teachers in other disciplines. The bond between teachers and students is deeper, and the responsibility of teachers is heavier, emphasizing more on the guiding role of teacher's ethics and style, and medical ethics and style. Quoting Secretary Zhu Da, he emphasized, "Misconduct between mentors and students is a high-voltage line that must not be touched. The school will absolutely maintain a high-pressure stance towards this, just like cracking down on drunk driving," as a warning to all faculty members. He encouraged all faculty members of the Health Science Center to strive to become a "teacher with a heart for the 'great matters of the nation', a sincere heart", a "teacher willing to illuminate and shape people's souls, with a heart of dedication", and a "teacher who puts 'virtue' first, with a loving heart". The Health Science Center will take the construction of teacher's morality and style as a key task, persistently and continually working hard over a long period of time.
