In order to foster a culture of respecting teachers and valuing education, on the occasion of the 39th Teachers' Day, on September 8th, members of the leadership team of Ningbo University Health Science Center visited 16 clinical medicine and preventive medicine teaching bases to carry out Teacher's Day consolation activities for representative teachers.

Members of the Health Science Center leadership team visited teachers currently in class and representatives of graduate student mentors, as well as consoled the staff of the teaching management departments at each base. They delivered flowers and holiday blessings, expressing heartfelt thanks for their dedication to medical education, contributing to the cultivation of talents in clinical medicine and preventive medicine at Ningbo University, and promoting the development of higher medical education in Ningbo City.

The teacher representatives all stated that doctors are the guardians of human life, and teachers are the engineers of the human soul. Feeling honored to shoulder both these glorious and great missions simultaneously, they also expressed their good fortune to contribute to the medical talent training of Ningbo University as its teachers. They grow through teaching, and in the process of participating in teaching work, they have also gained professional advancement and a sense of accomplishment in educating people. At the same time, they wish that Ningbo University Health Science Center will live up to the expectations of Ningbo City, strive hard, benchmark against first-class medical schools in the country, accelerate the construction of the "double base", and achieve leapfrog development in talent cultivation, scientific research, and discipline construction.
