On November 8, the "4th National English Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in Undergraduate Medical Education for International Students in China," hosted by the International Medical Education Branch of the China Education Association for International Exchange and organized by Harbin Medical University, was held in Harbin. Xiao Zunyu from the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University proudly won the title of "Rising Star in English Teaching" representing Ningbo University.

The English teaching competition covered all higher education institutions nationwide that recruit international medical undergraduates, and it has become the largest and most influential English teaching demonstration and exchange event for international students in China. A total of 49 contestants from prestigious universities including Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Sun Yat-sen University, Shandong First Medical University, Harbin Medical University, and Capital Medical University competed on the same stage, offering a splendid array of presentations.

The Ningbo University Health Science Center has always encouraged young teachers to continuously innovate educational concepts, strengthen their intrinsic development, and focus on spreading knowledge about China and fostering friendship with China. Taking this English teaching demonstration as an opportunity, the faculty will accelerate the construction of a qualified teaching staff for international students, aiming to enhance the quality and level of education for international students in China.
