Seeking Medical Guidance, Rushing to Ningbo — The Health Science Center of Ningbo University Recruits High-Level Medical Talent in Four Provinces

Author: Xu Yujie Date: 2024-05-20

In an effort to boost the construction of a "medical peak" and vigorously advance the building of a high-level talent team at the Health Science Center of Ningbo University, from May 8th to 19th, leaders of the Health Science Center led teams to Harbin Medical University, Jilin University, China Medical University, Capital Medical University, and Sun Yat-sen University to participate in job fairs specifically for medical doctoral candidates. Joining the Health Science Center in this out-of-province recruitment event were affiliated institutions such as Li Huili Hospital, Women and Children's Hospital, the Institute of New Drug Technology Research, and the Ningbo Eye Hospital Postdoctoral Workstation.

The recruitment event attracted participants from over 70 medical colleges and hospitals nationwide, primarily targeting doctoral candidates in medical fields. As the medical division of a "Double First-Class" university, the Health Science Center of Ningbo University was particularly favored by doctoral candidates, with some junior candidates also present to inquire about the school's talent introduction policies and postdoctoral programs. The Health Science Center recruits doctoral candidates in major medical fields and interdisciplinary subjects related to medicine without setting limits on the number of talents introduced. The site was bustling with candidates seeking consultations, and at times, long queues formed at the information booth. With sincere intent, the leaders of the Health Science Center personally communicated with the candidates, discussing positions, work locations, career paths, and salary packages. The candidates showed keen interest in the Health Science Center's postdoctoral recruitment plans, especially the competitive annual salaries and the inclusivity of multidisciplinary backgrounds, which were significant factors attracting them.

Across the five job fairs, over a hundred doctoral resumes were received, with more than ten candidates confirming their intention to join on-site, and three receiving interview invitations from the Health Science Center the day after the job fairs concluded. The leadership of the Health Science Center places high importance on building a high-level talent team. This series of talent attraction activities was personally led by members of the leadership team, who traveled to five provinces and cities within ten days. With the strategy of "going out and bringing in," they continuously enhance the reputation of the Health Science Center among domestic high-level medical university graduates, attracting more outstanding doctors to join their ranks.
