On January 8th, the "Pathogen Infection Roundtable Forum," hosted by the Health Science Center of Ningbo University and co-organized by Haier Gene, was convened. The forum invited nearly 20 experts from various national disease control, clinical, and laboratory institutions, including Peking Union Medical College, the Institute for Viral Disease Prevention and Control of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health, Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Ruijin Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, the National Health Literacy Promotion Branch of the Chinese Culture Association for Medicine and Health Care, and the "Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine," to exchange ideas. Professor Wen Jinsheng, the Executive Dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences at the Health Science Center, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the department.

During the meeting, two experts were invited to deliver specialized reports titled "Nucleic Acid Testing of Respiratory Pathogens Aids in Precise Infection Treatment" and "From Testing to Early Warning and Prediction: New Explorations in the Era of Big Data." Subsequently, the attending experts engaged in in-depth discussions on topics related to respiratory pathogens, as well as the epidemiological characteristics and testing of pathogens such as HPV and viral encephalitis.

The Health Science Center has long emphasized the importance of strengthening academic exchanges across multiple fields. By jointly organizing academic conferences with enterprises that are closely related to clinical practice, it has effectively promoted the integration and collaborative development of basic and clinical disciplines, thereby reinforcing the "medical education and research" system.
