On the afternoon of June 11, 2024, the Ningbo University Health Science Center organized a symposium on scientific research work for its directly-affiliated hospitals. The meeting was chaired by Xu Guozhang, Deputy Dean of the Health Science Center. Cui Wei, the Academic Deputy Dean, heads of scientific research management from all directly-affiliated hospitals, and relevant personnel from the Department of Scientific Research and International Exchanges participated in the meeting. The head of scientific research management from Ningbo's Second Hospital was also invited to attend.

During the meeting, heads of scientific research management from both the directly-affiliated hospitals and Ningbo's Second Hospital reported on their major scientific achievements, practices, and encountered difficulties over the past three years. They also engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the future directions of scientific research work.

Xu Guozhang affirmed the scientific research efforts of all directly-affiliated hospitals and Ningbo's Second Hospital. He expressed gratitude for the opinions and suggestions raised by participants. He stated that the Health Science Center would establish a long-term mechanism for advancing work through institutionalized construction. Moreover, the Center would carefully review the tasks proposed by each hospital, striving to further develop scientific research work at the Health Science Center and its directly-affiliated hospitals as well as other teaching bases.
