On the afternoon of July 29th, Lin Ti, Deputy Mayor of Yuyao City, led a delegation from the Yuyao Municipal Government Office, Finance Bureau, Health and Wellness Bureau, and Yuyao People's Hospital to visit and support the Double First-Class initiative at Ningbo University Health Science Center. Zhang Zhenzhu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Medical Department’s Party Committee, received Lin Ti and his delegation. Relevant officials from the Party Committee Office (President's Office), leaders of the Medical Department, and others attended the reception.

During the meeting, Huang Huaiqian, Dean of Yuyao People's Hospital, introduced the hospital's history, achievements, and challenges faced in hospital grading assessments. Liu Yu, the Executive Director of the Medical Department, reviewed the longstanding cooperation with Yuyao People's Hospital, expressed gratitude for its contributions to the training of clinical medicine talents at Ningbo University Health Science Center, and highlighted the current strengths and characteristics of the Medical Department. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation in medical education, scientific research, discipline construction, and talent development, reaching a preliminary consensus.

Lin Ti emphasized that the Yuyao Municipal Committee and Government highly value the development of medical and health services and that improving the level of medical care in Yuyao is an urgent desire of the local populace. He expressed hope for sincere cooperation between the municipality and the university, urging both sides to work closely together on top-level planning and layout, focus on the long term, implement steps methodically, and collaborate closely in hospital construction, talent cultivation, and medical teaching and research to mutually benefit the local community.

Zhang Zhenzhu first thanked the Yuyao Municipal Committee and Government for their support of the Double First-Class initiative at Ningbo University Health Science Center. He fully acknowledged the achievements of Yuyao People's Hospital and stated that Ningbo University Health Science Center would leverage its advantages in talent aggregation and disciplinary construction to support and assist Yuyao People's Hospital in strengthening medical disciplines, enhancing medical service levels, achieving mutual success, and contributing to the construction of medical peaks in Ningbo City.
