In order to select outstanding graduate students to participate in the 2024 Annual Graduate Clinical Skills (Imaging Reading) Competition of the National Alliance of Medical University Graduate Schools, and to inspect the quality of standardized training for residents specializing in radiology, the Medical Department held a selection competition for graduate students' imaging reading competition in the Wang Changle Multifunctional Hall on the afternoon of September 18. The competition was undertaken by the Radiology Degree Program, with a total of 11 contestants from three grades.

At the pre-competition mobilization meeting, Ye Meng, the deputy director of the Medical Department, emphasized the importance of continuously strengthening medical theory learning during the study period, and encouraged students to strive to improve their practical operation skills. He hoped that the contestants would dare to break through themselves in the competition and win honors for the department.

The competition was conducted through the Spark Imaging Residency (SPARK) teaching platform, focusing on testing the contestants' observation skills and clinical experience, requiring them to complete the tasks quickly and accurately. After fierce competition, Wang Xiaofei (Class of 2022, mentored by Zhang Jingfeng) and Wang Huiying (Class of 2022, mentored by Pan Yuning) won the first prize, Zhuang Ting and three other contestants won the second prize, and Li Huayu and six other contestants won the third prize. The two contestants who won the first prize will be specially trained by the Radiology Degree Program and will represent Ningbo University to participate in the alliance competition.

As a new member of the National Alliance of Medical University Graduate Schools, organizing students to participate in the alliance's competitions is an important step in integrating into the medical university organization. Therefore, the department and the degree program attach great importance to it, and also hope to provide a platform for graduate students to showcase their learning achievements and opportunities for mutual exchange and discussion through such competitions.
